Produced by Leonard and Phil Chess, this was released as part of the Chess Vintage Series in 1969 (LP-1536), in mono. It was subsequently reissued by MCA in stereo as part of the Original Chess Masters Series (CHD-9324, pictured above right) and the Chess Legendary Masters Series (MCD 09324, pictured above left) in 1997. Chess files list the track "Open Road" as "Bummer Road". The 1997 liner notes by Mary Katherine Aldin are far more detailed than Pete Welding's brief original notes.
